Attend an Open House & Adopt A Shelter Cat for Life!
Good Mews Animal Foundation, Atlanta’s original non-profit no-kill, free roam cat shelter, wants you to give a wonderful shelter cat the best gift of all…a permanent home to kick off the summer break and the rest of it’s life! There’s no better time to welcome a new family member than the summer when the kids are out of school and the whole family can really bond with their new feline friend. Come and see all the beautiful and handsome feline friends we having waiting for you! If you’re really daring, ask us about our many pairs and double up on that Summer Lovin’!
We are having two special open house events in June to celebrate Adopt A Shelter Cat Month and kick off our Summer Lovin’ fun. These events will take place Sunday June 18th from 1-4pm and Friday June 30th from 6-9pm at our shelter, in the Fountains at Olde Towne Center, just North of Lower Roswell Road in Marietta. Come meet our cats and join our volunteers for some cold refreshments and snacks. While you visit, you can get a “behind-the-scenes” tour of our facility! You will be amazed at how our shelter operates and you will hear some incredible stories that brought each of our residents to Good Mews! Should you happen to meet the new love of your life at our open house, the shelter is open for adoptions each Saturday from 10am–4pm and on the 1st & 3rd Sunday of each month from 1pm–4pm. In over 15 years, Good Mews has rescued over 4000 cats and kittens.
Adopting a cat from Good Mews includes a number of benefits. All Good Mews cats available for adoption are negative for FELV/FIV, spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations, microchipped and receive regular health checkups. Please stop by on either Sunday June 18th or Friday June 30th to meet our kitties at our Summer Open House.
