Good news for kitty lovers in the metro-Atlanta area! Good Mews Animal Foundation, non-profit, cage-free, no-kill shelter for cats, is offering a gem of a deal on kittens!
“The city is in a flurry of back-to-school purchases, tax-free holidays and spending left and right,” Shelter Manager Shannon Crafton said. “The kitties at the shelter decided it was time that they got in on part of the action. In light of a very large kitten season, we are offering TWO kittens “fur” ONE adoption fee!”
Shelters across the metro-Atlanta area are feeling the effects of overcrowding. Good Mews does not euthanize its cats and kittens in order to make space for new animals. In order to let more in, adoptions must occur, so summer is the “purrrfect” time to adopt kittens!
The shelter has approximately 30 kittens ready for adoption. Statistics show that a kitten will adjust to a new home more quickly if they have a companion. August 12th through September 3rd, the shelter will adopt a set of available kittens under 9 months in age to qualified adopters for a fee of only $110. This includes the kitten’s age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, flea treatment, testing, micro chipping, registration and spay/neuter!
People wishing to adopt from Good Mews may visit the shelter during our regular adoption hours, Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the first and third Sundays each month from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. .
